Keep those shutter doors working for you

We know what the consequences can be when a roller shutter door isn't working as it should. Work is disrupted, deliveries are held up, services aren't being provided. That's why servicing your door is so important. But how often do you need your door servicing? That depends on how often you use it. Our recommendation is that any door that's operated up to 12 cycles per day requires servicing every six months. For doors that are operated up to 30 cycles per day, a service every four months is ideal. But who to provide it? That's where we come in. Here at CNC Doors, we carry out repair and servicing work for doors across the region and have been doing so since first setting up back in 1987. See below for our process.

• Attend site at agreed date and time, reporting to the appropriate person on site.
• Conduct and induction or tool box as required and permits raise.
• By using correct walkways, be shown door/doors requiring a service, attend to the doors in order as requested by the appropriate person on site.
• Isolate the door in question (where possible, we will use our van to block off access).
• Visually inspect the roller shutters for damage/undue usage.
• Lubricate all moving parts.
• Where necessary, any high work will be carried out using ladders on short term work - 1 engineer will remain on the ground to secure the ladders. Alternatively, ladders will be tied off.
• Once service is complete, the shutter will be reinstated, and we will move onto the next shutter (where applicable).
• When completed, we will inform the nominated person to inspect the work. If required, we cancel the permits and proceed to leave site.
